The STP enables unlimited travel by train and bus and is available for one day (S$10), two days (S$16) or three days (S$20). Four operators offer bus services throughout the island: SBS Transit, SMRT Buses, Tower Transit Singapore and Go-Ahead Singapore. Taxis are not a cheap transport option and very often there are surcharges.

Singapore has two distinct seasons: dry and wet, but the climate is hot and humid year round. The months from November to January and from June to July are considered peak season in Singapore so it will be difficult to find cheap flights during this period and you can expect high rates as well. The cheapest time to visit Singapore is from August to October which is Singapore's off-season. Temperatures are a little bit higher.
