Breda
Breda is a charming city in the southwestern Netherlands, in the province of North Brabant, located about 40 km from Rotterdam, near the Belgian border. It is an important cultural and academic center, home to an academy of fine arts, a theater school, a music school, and a military academy. The city also boasts numerous libraries and museums. Breda, a historical fiefdom of the Holy Roman Empire, was granted city rights in 1252. Spring and summer are the best times to visit, with mild temperatures.
