Birmingham Airport is an international airport in the UK, located about 13 km from Birmingham city centre. It supports the entire metropolis and its surroundings. The port has two passenger terminals, which are connected by a passage – “The Millennium Walkway" and a freight terminal. About 50 airlines operate domestic and international flights (to Europe, India, North America, the Middle East, the Caribbean). In 2011, the airport checked-in over 8.5 million passengers, which placed it on the seventh position in the country. There are many hotels near the airport.

There are many bus routes from the city and the surrounding area to the airport. Local buses provide regional communication. Bus stops are located in front of the terminal buildings. At the airport, we can use short- and long-term parking lots. Short-term and medium-term parking is possible in three multi-level garages. Long-term parking is provided by two car parks away from the airport near route A45.
