Pegasus
Pegasus is a private Turkish carrier. It was created in 1990 as the charter airline of Irish Aer Lingus airlines and two other companies. Four years later, two associates sold their shares to the local bank, transforming Pegasus into a purely Turkish company. After few positive years, in 2005, the carrier changed itself into a low-cost airline. After only two years, Pegasus carried more Turkish passengers than any other airline. In 2013 the number of carried passengers grew to 16.9 million. The main headquarters of the airline is Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen and Istanbul Atatürk airports. Pegasus offer 97 flight directions.
