Baggage
British Airways’ passengers are allowed to take 2 pieces of hand baggage on board. Both of them should meet the size and weight restrictions which are determined by the booking class and the route. Limits also apply to the checked baggage and depend on the fare type and your final destination.
Travel Classes
British Airways has various classes of service.
Economy Class is the cheapest one. On flights within Europe (Euro Travellers) passengers are not provided with complimentary meals as opposed to the World Traveller fare which is a full-service economy class. World Traveller Plus is the premium economy fare available on selected long-haul routes. Passengers can enjoy an extended menu and personalized entertainment.
British Airways offers a range of business class options. Customers traveling across Europe will be first on board and get more space to work or relax.
First Class service is available on selected long-haul flights. Premium cabins with seats that recline into fully flat beds are among many other luxuries.
Online Check-in
Passengers can check-in online from 24 hours before the flight departs and print, download or email their boarding pass.

The British Airways fleet stands at approximately 300 aircraft including Airbus A318-100, A319-100, A320-200, A321-200, A380-800, Boeing 727-400, 767-300ER, 777-200, 777-200ER, 787-8.
London Heathrow
A major international airport in London lies on the western edge of the British capital, around 24 km away from the city center. It’s the busiest airport in Europe and the third in the world by total passenger traffic. Within the terminals, you’ll find various facilities, such as bars, restaurants, cafés, shops, and others. There is Wi-Fi available throughout the airport as well as free computer desks with broadband access.
In-flight Meals
British Airways contracted Marks & Spencer as its food supplier and charges for food and drinks on its European flights (it does not apply to the business class passengers). Complimentary meals are served on all long-haul routes. The in-flight meal can be chosen and purchased from online menu between 30 days and 24 hours before the flight.
Additional Services
On long-haul flights, British Airways offers a wide range of in-flight entertainment – from feature movies through documentaries to TV programs, as well as music, books, audiobooks, and games.

Worst flight ever
Flight on the way out to Alicante was delayed by 2 hours which was air traffic controls fault so cannot really blame BA for this part of the journey. Pilot was informative and crew professional . Return flight 10th Sept ‘23’ whole different story. Arrived at the airport 11:00pm ready for 01:30 flight, lined up to be told by other passengers the plane has not left Gatwick yet and we will not be leaving until 03:30 at the earliest. Already knew it was going to be a rowdy flight with drunk young passengers who were loud, obnoxious and anti-social in the airport. Board 03:20, had to wait in Tunnel for 20mins, man used his child as priority boarding by pushing past passengers, got his own way. Teenagers/ early 20’s sitting 2 rows in front started because no room in overhead lockers so felt it necessary to call the whole cabin a bunch of c£&ts. Taxied onto runway only to return to back where we started. The family from the tunnel and the rowdy drunk girls from the airport arguing had to be removed from the flight. Luggage removed. Flight finally underway 6am. Staff - pilot apologetic and informative. Crew - nothing, in fact one found it whole thing hilarious and talking with the nasty girls 2 rows in front allowing them to goad the police to remove the other passengers and calling out names, swearing, chanting. This behaviour was clearly ok for the crew member. They should have also been taken off.

Run out of food
They run out f coffee and tea by the time they got to row 20 going out. Coming back there wasn’t any sandwiches or Crisps. Plus flight was delayed by 1 hour.

flight was canceled without notice ! last flight of the day from Gatwick so they had me take a bus to Heathrow for the 6 pm flight there !! Will never fly BA again !!!
