American Airlines is one of the largest airlines. Since the foundation in 1930, they have merged with 80 other carriers. The last merger was carried out on February 14, 2013 with US Airways.
Today, American Airlines serves domestic flights, and also has a rich network of international connections. The carrier's planes land at airports in South America, Europe, Asia, and the Caribbean.
The company's headquarters are located in Fort Worth, Texas, and the lines have five major hubs, at the airport in Dallas, New York of the name J. F. K., Los Angeles, Miami and Chicago O'Hare.
